You can find it at
/System/Library/CoreServices/
You may have seen it when youve clicked an archive file, but the thing about it is that it can be used to create archives too. I like to use the zip format but it supports regular and compressed archive formats too. Screenshot of the Archive Utility Folder
Its a hidden jewel. There are a couple of changes you can make to its preferences to make it even more useful.
My Settings
In its preferences I have set it as follows: -- Save Expanded Files - into same directory as archive
- After expanding - leave archive alone
- Check - Reveal expanded item(s) in Finder
- Check - Keep expanding if possible
- Save archive - into same directory as files being archived
- Use archive format - Zip archive
- After archiving - leave files alone
- Check - Reveal archive in Finder

Lastly you can drag it to your dock to make it a bit easier to find next time!
